Tekken PS2 has some of the best graphics

Despite this seemingly glum review, many critics actually celebrated the change in style, and felt that it was long overdue. In addition, tekken 5 ps2 has some of the best graphics and presentation ever seen on the console, and has surely taken the system to its peak. It also features a nice selection of game modes that give the game a good amount of replay value and variety, such as Tekken Force and Team Battle.

Tekken 5 PS2 has less characters than Tekken 3 and 5, and is more ‘arcadey’, meaning there is less skill required to win in the game than there ever was, and more of winning is based on luck and other variables. For example, the levels are no-longer flat – there are some levels with steps and small cliffs. While this sounds great, it means that the level can have too great of an effect when it comes to who has the advantage in a match, rather than the winner being the one who’s the most skilled. Also, you can easily abuse the fact that you can get your opponent up against a wall and continually hit them, as wall-comboing is way too easy. These facts alone make the game unattractive to hardcore fighting game fans, which is Tekken’s main audience.

The game is also credited with being the best looking the series, as each of the tekken characters takes on a distinct and unique personality, thanks to the quality of the graphics. These graphics have also affected the level design, with some truly stunning levels being the result. For example, there’s a level where you’re fighting in a field of white flower at night-time, with a beautiful purple sky above. This takes the game to a whole new level, and improves the playing experience. One of the other disappointments with this game is the amount of characters, or more precisely, the lack of characters. A meagre 22 characters are included, with is a fairly poor effort compared to most fighting games these days, especially as Tekken 6 has 42 characters – almost double
